Prominent corner site
with valuable dual aspect Commercial street frontage. Site was
previously derelict with a cluster of small buildings in a state of
disrepair. Brief required a high quality purpose built retail
premises.
Due to the Site's
prominence and its proximity to the Yeats Memorial and Hibernian
Bank buildings, the Planning Authority stipulated that development
should be of high quality.
Project
Description
Retail over two levels with
extensive street level display and bespoke feature stairs to first
floor retail space. Oval void space to First floor with reinforced
concrete lattice floor structure. Storage, Staff Kitchen and
Washrooms are provided to the rear of the Premises with a secondary
fire escape opening onto Wine Street.
Cut Stone cladding , natural
slate roof , copper hopper heads and rainwater goods, Powder coated
aluminum double glazed windows.
